Lost in Translation….

I ADORE badly translated product descriptions! My first thought is usually, “What is so hard about doing a quick check for correct grammar? Do they really not have a single soul who can speak English to give the copy the once-over??”  I’ll admit though, that as crazy as it makes me, when I really think about it,  I wouldn’t have it any other way….

For instance… Check out the following product description for a telephoto lens for your iphone ( I thought it was a joke, and found this. The product is cool, but the description is a gem! )

Enjoy!!!

  • it also makes distant view for you at the moment.
  • Advantage
  • The new design to run of rays can effectively avoid the contortion of image,
  • and makes the super wide angle, the larger luminous flux, the higher visual acuteness,
  • good for color reduction, which makes the high quality of photography.
  • Usage
  • Install the crystal case first enclosed with the telescope.
  • Adjust the clear focus with the naked eye.
  • It can take a picture while fixing the telescope on back crystal case.

I love this. I still refer to velcro as “sticky headband wearing tape” based on a manglish description. 😉
